May 26 International Forum «ATOMEXPO-2009» will gather top managers of key companies operating in the world nuclear power market.

«It will be the first time when representatives of so many key players of the world nuclear technology market will gather together on the Russian national site," Sergey Novikov, the Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the International Forum „ATOMEXPO-2009“, said.

The participation in the Forum’s Congress and round-table discussions has been confirmed by heads of foreign companies such as (in alphabetical order) Alstom Power, Ansaldo Nucleare, Areva NP, BHP Billiton, China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), Fortum, General Electric-Hitachi, Kazatomprom, NNEGC Energoatom, Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd., Nukem Technologies, Siemens AG.

The Forum will take place from May 26 till May 28, 2009 in Moscow (Expocentre, Forum Pavilion). The program of the International Forum „ATOMEXPO-2009“ includes the Congress and specialized exhibition. The Congress slogan is „Nuclear Power. Development through Cooperation“; it main goal is to provide an opportunity for public officials and representatives of the industrial community to discuss issues related to the development of international nuclear power cooperation in conditions of the world financial crisis.
