GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP – JOINT SUCCESS
During the X Anniversary International Forum ATOMEXPO-2018 in Sochi on May 15, 2018, ROSATOM and Republic of Cuba’s Ministry of Science, Technology, and Environment signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Strategic Partnership in the development and use of irradiation technologies.
The Parties intend to enhance cooperation in the following areas: conduct of researches, education and personnel training in the field of nuclear science and technology in order to maintain HR development at existing and future nuclear power stations, as well as nuclear research facilities.
The document provides for the development of cooperation between the parties in the engineering, manufacturing and supply of Critical Process Equipment primarily for the Oil & Gas market in Russia and abroad.
Panel discussion “Lifecycle management”: what does the client want to get - a physical object or a management platform? within the framework of the Xth International forum Atomexpo-2018 arranged by ASE Group of Companies, representatives of the leading foreign engineering companies, vendors offering the market their own digital platforms/products, customers, regulatory authorities and investors are gathered at the venue.
On 14 May 2018, within the framework of the anniversary 10th Atomexpo-2018 Forum in Sochi, the International Project Management Association (IPMA) awarded the Rusatom Overseas with a level three compliance certificate under the IPMA Delta model. The respective audit confirmed that the documents describing project portfolio and programs management procedures, structures, and standards are in place and are being actually employed by the company. The IPMA assessors confirmed that Rusatom Overseas implements international contractual projects in accordance with the best international project management practices.
Throughout the round table, the participants discussed the trends the global energy experiences due to constant growth of demand, the perspectives of synergy between different clean energy sources (sun, water, wind and atom) aimed at establishing a sustainable global energy mix, and possible environment protection activities.
“Green investments”—creating possibilities and broadening the horizons. This is the name of the round table conducted by the Rosatom State Corporation as part of the X Anniversary International Forum ATOMEXPO-2018. The forum participants discussed Investment strategies and the issues of funding the nuclear industry facilities as well as principles for implementing comprehensive NPP construction projects abroad.
The document was signed by Mr Alexander Merten, President of Rusatom – International Network, from the Russian side, and Mr Xabier Ruiz Morín, Nuclear Services Director at IDOM, from the Spanish side.
Sochi - May, 14th. Rosatom America Latina (regional branch of «Rusatom International Network») and the Chilean Commission of Nuclear Energy (CCHEN) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote cooperation in the nuclear and lithium sector in Chile.
ROSATOM, represented by OTEK, commences implementation of Smart City projects supported by federal public bodies and major banks.The existing and perspective technologies from the nuclear industry will be taken as a basis for Smart City solutions.
