04.05.2018 Belarus to partake in ATOMEXPO forum in Sochi on 14-16 May
Representatives of the Belarusian Energy Ministry and the state enterprise Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant will traditionally attend events of the forum. The stand of the Belarusian nuclear power plant will outline progress in implementing the project to build the nuclear power plant near Ostrovets.

A presentation by Mr Naohiro Masuda, Executive Vice President of Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings, Inc., will be held on May 15, 2018 as part of the Business Program of “ATOMEXPO 2018”. During the dramatic events of March 2011, Mr Masuda was the Plant Manager of NPP “Fukushima Daini” and played a key role in the safe shutdown of the NPP.

On June 21, 2017 in Moscow, within the framework of the IX International Forum «ATOMEXPO 2017», Rusatom International Network (hereinafter referred to as Private Institution RAIN) and the Saudi company Al-Yamama for Trading and Contracting (hereinafter referred to as Al-Yamama) signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The document was signed by the president of Private Institution RAIN, Alexander Merten, on the Russian side, and the President of Al-Yamama Group Abdul Hakim Hamad A.Alkhaldi, on the Saudi side.
