During the Atomexpo-2018 Forum Rosatom’s Science Division conducted a round table “International Scientific Cooperation and Advanced Research Infrastructure—the Foundation for Innovative Development in the Nuclear Power Industry”.
On May 15, 2018 "on the margins" of the ATOMEXPO-2018 International Forum in Sochi ROSATOM and the Ministry of Water Resources, Irrigation and Electric Power of the Republic of the Sudan signed a Memorandum on Cooperation on the personnel training in the field of nuclear energy of the Republic of the Sudan and the Memorandum on the formation of positive public opinion on nuclear energy in the Republic of Sudan.
During the X Anniversary International Forum ATOMEXPO-2018 in Sochi on May 15, 2018, the ROSATOM and the “Talent and Success” Education Foundation signed a cooperation agreement.
May 15, 2018 - Director General of ROSATOM Alexey Likhachev and Minister without portfolio in charge of innovation and technological development in the Government of the Republic of Serbia Nenad Popovich signed a document on the principles of Russian-Serbian cooperation in the field of innovation and technological development with the use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.
The Parties intend to develop strategic cooperation in the area of digital technologies implementation in the industrial manufacturing, that are targeted at the increase of production efficiency, development of remote maintenance service of the installed equipment, optimization of technological processes and cost reduction.
During the X Anniversary International Forum ATOMEXPO-2018 in Sochi on May 15, 2018, ROSATOM and Republic of Cuba’s Ministry of Science, Technology, and Environment signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Strategic Partnership in the development and use of irradiation technologies.
The Parties intend to enhance cooperation in the following areas: conduct of researches, education and personnel training in the field of nuclear science and technology in order to maintain HR development at existing and future nuclear power stations, as well as nuclear research facilities.
The document provides for the development of cooperation between the parties in the engineering, manufacturing and supply of Critical Process Equipment primarily for the Oil & Gas market in Russia and abroad.

On 14 May 2018, within the framework of the anniversary 10th Atomexpo-2018 Forum in Sochi, the International Project Management Association (IPMA) awarded the Rusatom Overseas with a level three compliance certificate under the IPMA Delta model. The respective audit confirmed that the documents describing project portfolio and programs management procedures, structures, and standards are in place and are being actually employed by the company. The IPMA assessors confirmed that Rusatom Overseas implements international contractual projects in accordance with the best international project management practices.
