16.04.2019 JSC RASU, MIRION TECHNOLOGIES (MGPI) SAS and RPE RADICO LTD Sign Memorandum of Understanding for Development, Localization and Supply of Radiation Monitoring Equipment
At the initial step, within two years after signing the document, the parties are planning to establish a common system featuring the equipment, subsystems and components of radiation monitoring systems commercially produced by MIRION TECHNOLOGIES (field level software and hardware), and the upper level software and hardware package offered by JSC RASU as part of I&C for the European nuclear construction projects (NPPs of the Russian design). Within this step, RPE RADICO LTD will do the engineering works and provide installation supervision, commissioning supervision and operation support services.

The agreement provides for joint production of titanium alloy products with high added value for science-intensive industries such as aviation, automotive and medicine. In particular, it is planned to establish a joint venture for production of aircraft tubular assemblies, special wire for additive production, sonotrodes, automobile suspension components as well as implants and prostheses for application in medicine.

The Memorandum secures the intention of the parties to consider the joint participation in Paks II NPP (Hungary) and Akkuyu NPP (Turkey) construction projects in terms of FP I&C, and the readiness to prepare a partnership agreement (to be signed later).

15.04.2019 ATOMEXPO 2019: Certificates of Conformity with IEC Standards for New USG Low Voltage Switchgear Line Awarded to JSC RASU and UEMZ
The new USG series of LVSG cabinets have advanced safety features and extended service life of 50+ years. Besides, the cabinets boast augmented thickness of the metal frames and an increased number of busbars as well as heightened thermal and electrodynamic resistance to short-circuit currents. Available LVSG certificates of conformity with IEC standards will allow JSC RASU to supply UEMZ equipment to all overseas construction projects of nuclear power plants of Russian design.
15.04.2019 Rusatom Healthcare, Rusatom International Network and the Institute of Nuclear Physics of Uzbekistan signed a memorandum of cooperation
In the framework of memorandum, the parties agreed to work out jointly a project on creation of cyclotron radiochemical production on the site of the Institute of Nuclear Physics of Uzbekistan, which involves the production of radioisotope products in Uzbekistan and its realization both domestically and abroad.

In particular, the memorandum provides for the training of Azerbaijani specialists in the field of nuclear science at higher educational institutions of Russia and advanced training for administrative, scientific and technical personnel in various fields of the use of atomic energy for peaceful purposes.
