Nuclear for better life
Under the contract, the Czech company will provide JSC "CDBMB" with blanks for reactor coolant pumps of several NPPs. Mechanically processed and tested forgings of second and third safety classes will be applied by JSC "CDBMB" for manufacturing components of reactor coolant pumps (GCNA-1391 type) and the newest pumps (GCNA-1753 type) with water lubrication of assemblies and motor.
The parties identified the following areas of cooperation: organization of financing and provision of guarantees and letters of credit for the project, as well as consulting on determining the optimal structure of project financing.
The roadmap determines specific steps in strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of peaceful use of atomic energy. The parties plan have identified joint actions within the framework of NPP construction and CNST construction projects. Thus, a foundation is laid for training personnel and raising public awareness about atomic energy.
As part of the education and training MoU, the parties intend to jointly train specialists in the field for the peaceful nuclear technologies and organize various training programmes including students exchanges, training of teachers for Serbian universities and much more.
The parties agreed to cooperate in the production and application of high-tech pipe products, including joint development of new types of steel pipes. In addition, the document outlines strategic areas for joint activities in the field of import substitution and cooperation in the implementation of promising projects in both Russian and international markets. In particular, this includes scientific and technical cooperation in the development of new technical standards, research and development (R&D) on the creation of new steel grades and modification of steel product surfaces.
As a result of signing the agreement, the parties will be able to cooperate in analyzing Rosatom's projects and establishing possible conditions for EDB to finance projects.
The document was signed by the head of the Association of ZATO Alexey Golubev and President of municipalities community of Vendeuvre-Soulaines of Aube department (France) Philippe Dallemagne.
This year the participants will have a busy business program, which includes plenary sessions, roundtables, signing of various agreements. Forum participants and accredited media representatives will be able to attend 18 roundtables on various relevant aspects of nuclear technology development.
Participants in the roundtable will discuss digital solutions that are currently being used to help achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and which digital products in the nuclear industry may be put forward in order to ensure the effective development of the economy and improve the quality of people’s lives.
The event will bring together Russian and international experts to talk about the contribution of nuclear technologies to the development of scientific and technical process and their potential to influence industry, medicine, space exploration and other spheres of the economy.
